Heeeey! Merry Christmas to me and all the other lonely people. You know it's not that bad after all I have a beautifuf family and some lovely friends too and I love them all. I really love life and all it has to offer even me. It,s been really hard waiting for this house, but if it is to be then nobody can stop it. we'll be alright, hell we shot our best shot. My baby girl sure gave it all she had including making me cut back on spending money. If I don't get to go look out Jamica, key west or some dam body. I mean all of us. come on people, don't make me eat my words. Life is good and all it has to offer. Take it from the mouth of the sunshinelady, that's me alright.

I kinda had a thought this wasn't for me. But when we get started to write the words just flow surely meaning no harm or to make anyone sad, nor hurt anyone feelings, really it was all in fun. but whats sweet to one person may bitter to another. Guess I'll quit before I won't have any friends. I'm sure as hell lonely enough.

My Computer Mess!!

This is a very instering story so you might want sit and to listen. My eleven year old grand daughter came over wanting to hang out with me and help me with my new mini laptop. Really when she came over I was hanging up clothes, right now my house is a little messy. About ten minutes her daddy called asking can I keep them(them is her and her three sisters which the littlest one is here with her) for a "SERCIVE CALL" yeah right. Well anyway when the other kids arrived at first it was really loud. I really wanted them to leave because I had a head ace. My 11 year old granddaughter let's call her Tee got them to go outside while she helped me with my mini. When she got them outside she came back in I asked her did she know how to turn it on,she turned it on and she tried and tried to connet to a network she did this for about 10 or 15 minutes. I finally said "Let's try calling technical support." We called. The kids started to come in the house, maybe it wouldn't be so bad but they were talking all loud. I could hardly hear the man talk, I finally gave the phone to Tee and took the younger kids to my room to watch tv. I came back to help her she had to listen real hard to understand him I'm glad he was full with patience because I sure wasn't. He asked Tee how old she was and if someone older knew what he was talking about. He was talking about Gateway which I know now is the internet box,he whated to know if we saw the wireless internet key it took about 5 minutes to find it.lol After we got the key and entered it we finally got conneted. Woohoo! The asked if we were connet he told us to do something but said never mind lol I don't blame him. We Thanked him so much and After that we started writing this. Good Mood

One of my Co-Worker gave my a beautiful necklace and earring set today, only because I said I was in a good mood,she say "Miss Minnie you always in a good mood" and that just made my day! :)

I am still kicking this addiction of course. I know I'm getting help from somewhere because as I look at QVC, everything still looks nice but wow they are pricey. Go Minnie!

just being me

I have to make people smile. If I can get a laugh, it's even better. One of my patients up in PACU asked me if he could have a plate of ribs when he got to his room. I touched his arm and said, "Why sure! If your imagination is vivid, it'll be waiting at your bedside".

He chuckled and said, "You are an angel in disguise". That made my day.

OKaaay!

It's October 16, 2008 and 4:45 AM. I sat here in my comfy chair and it is all too real. I am hooked. Hooked on TV shopping. It's not fun nor funny anymore.

At least 3 of 5 days every week Santa arrives at my front door with a whole lot of gifts. I've diminished my emergency account from $10,000 to a smashing $3,000. Now, I am scared! Do I try to kick the habit cold turkey? What?!

Oh I've tried promising that the UPS truck would not come to my house for a month and for that month I bought everything I could requesting US mail. I have ordered and canceled half the products but still end up with too much. I even compromise by buying something for someone else. Nothing has worked. I need help.

Now as I sit here, I know I have to kick this habit so I am stuck with multi-tasking.

1. losing weight and increasing my physical and mental health with diet and exercise
2. getting over a 12 year relationship that's been going downhill for a long time
3. kicking this shopping habit

I know that I can do it, one hour at a time. Better still, one moment at a time. Help me help myself. I have tried almost everything.
